Notion is a versatile productivity and organization tool that allows individuals and teams to create, collaborate, and manage tasks, projects, and notes in one centralized location. It is a web-based application that offers a range of features, including note-taking, project management, task tracking, knowledge management, and database building.
Students do not have access to paid-for Notion accounts or the LIS staff Notion intranet.
If you'd like to use Notion whilst studying at LIS you can sign up for a no-cost education account as long as you associate your Notion account with your @lis.ac.uk email address.
With the Education Plan, you'll have access to all Plus Plan features mentioned above, except you will not be able to add additional members to your workspace.
To take advantage of the free Plus Plan for students:
First, you'll need to make sure that the email address associated with your Notion account is the one provided by LIS.
You can change your email on file by clicking
Settings & membersin your sidebar, then
Next, navigate to the
Settings & members. If you're already on a paid plan, click on
Scroll down, and you should see a button that says
Get free education plan(you won't see this if you're on a Plus Plan or Enterprise Plan already):
If your school is recognized by our system, you'll be upgraded automatically and you're good to go!
If your school is not recognized by our system, you'll see a pop-up message informing you why.

If you have a promo code for a free education plan, you can enter it into the same form to automatically turn on the premium features for free.
