The LIS campus has a sophisticated wired network available throughout the building, however, wired network access is by request only and for specific use cases, such as:

• Hardware or IoT projects that require fixed connectivity.
• Authorised servers for teams, departments, or services.
• Older hardware or CH@LIS projects.

To request access to the wired network on campus, please email helpdesk@lis.ac.uk. Plugging into an ethernet port without prior consent is a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.
